Creating the Life You've Dreamed Of: You Are NOT a Starving Artist!

Van Gogh's Visions (triptych)

"Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can."
-- Danny Kaye, actor, singer, and dancer

If you're a painter or some type of artist where you're creating works of art, are you often amazed of that energy and power of being able to create?

When I first watched that popular movie, The Secret, I was blown away by the idea that every single thought I had created my reality. I didn't know that I could manifest things or situations into my life by being aware of my emotions and simply being happy. Although for most of my life I had achieved many of the goals I had set for myself thinking it was my "extremely hard work" that got me there.

You Are NOT a Starving Artist!

There was a time that I had labeled myself a "starving artist". Little did I know that just by saying those words I was creating that lifestyle for myself. Your words are very powerful - remember that! It's time to change that perspective and say, "I am a successful artist!"

You Create Art, Why Not Create the Life You Desire?

As an artist, you have a very powerful tool: Your creative mind... If anything, you probably have an advantage over other people who don't consider themselves to be artists (even though we are all indeed artists).

As an artist you can think outside the box and take your mind to places that most people don't think about. Because you use your creative mind on a daily basis, you already have that channel of energy opened up to possibility. However, instead of creating paintings, sculptures, and the like, you're creating the life that you desire!
