Where To Find Creative Energy

"Inside you there's an artist you don't know about . . .
Say yes quickly, if you know,
if you've known it from before the beginning of the universe." --Rumi

If you don't consider yourself to be an artist, one of the things I recommend doing is to visit an art museum, attend an art show or art fair. There's something about being around all that creative energy that fuels the passion in life. Looking at a work of art may just give you an idea for a new project or business venture!

Isn't it interesting that when we were all little, the majority of us loved to color and create things? Remember when you used to pretend to be someone or something? Our imaginations took us to so many places...But somehow we lose that sense of adventure as we grow. Grown up "responsibilities" seem to take over. Well, I'm saying that it's time to recapture that imagination and creativity!

In San Diego there are always art shows and events going on. One event in its third year is the ArtWalk on the Bay. Although it isn't as big as the annual ArtWalk in Little Italy, it draws in a decent crowd that come to enjoy this "open-air" gallery with the downtown San Diego skyline serving as a scenic backdrop.
