Inspiring Artist: Scott Jacobs, The Obama Portrait Painter

Whatever perceived adversity or "hardship" we face in our lives always has a silver lining around it. Take, for instance, artist Scott Jacobs who was put out on the streets on election day by the people who he was living with...

Scott decides to park in front of a Ben & Jerry's and finish a painting he had started of Barack Obama. Next thing you know he's getting offers for this painting and a clothing company wants to use the portrait for t-shirts.

It's a story that reminds us that anything and everything is possible if you stay true to your passion in life. Instead of feeling down on himself, Scott Jacobs channeled his energy into something positive and now look at all the attention he's getting because of it!
