IfOnly: It's Time For Extraordinary Experiences home page

As the New Year approaches and you're creating those resolutions for 2014, have you added any extraordinary experiences to that list? Are you dreaming big and envisioning all the possibilities? Or will you grow old and wake up every day thinking, If only...?

I was talking with a friend of mine today about doing "Firsts" for 2014. The idea came about from a book he read titled, "I Dare Me" by veteran journalist Lu Ann Cahn that chronicles her year of doing something new every day. As I find myself feeling a little stuck in a rut, I am feeling inspired by this and challenging myself in 2014 to do a "first" every day.

Synchronicity was certainly at play because after I made this intention to do something new, I started to browse IfOnly, a site where you can purchase these very unique experiences like a private figure skating lesson with Brian Boitano, visiting the studios of ESPN, having a private meal in your home with famed chef Tyler Florence, or indulging in the Constellation Caramel Collection that features 12 Michelin-starred and James Beard Award-winning chefs' creations.

That's just a snippet of the many things you can gift yourself, friends, or family, and if your order any of their holiday items by tomorrow (December 19), it will be received by Christmas Eve.

What I really like about IfOnly, though, is that a portion of the proceeds from every sale is given to a non-profit of the luminary's choosing. So it's not just your typical win-win transaction, but a win-win-win experience, which is something that I will happily support because it fits with our philosophy here at Studio 747.

What is your idea of an extraordinary experience? Do you have an intention to have more of them in 2014? Maybe browsing the IfOnly site will get the wheels spinning and inspire you to try something new and exciting.

P.S. If anybody would love to gift me any of the experiences under the sports category, it would be greatly appreciated!
